Applications are open to community organisations and groups working in the Family / Whanau focus area in the Rotorua and Taupo communities for funding from The Tindall Foundation (TTF).
Chair of the Geyser Community Foundation’s Distribution Advisory Committee, Ann Nicholas said Geyser is the Local Donation Manager for TTF, a philanthropic family foundation working throughout Aotearoa to support families, community and the environment.
“As a Local Donation Manager, we are tasked with identifying and allocating grants on behalf of TTF to projects that support TTF’s Family / Whanau focus area.”
“It is important to note that all applications for TTF funding must be made to the Geyser Community Foundation.
“Applications are encouraged from community organisations and groups leading positive change in the Rotorua and Taupo Districts, which support children, young people and their whanau to be resilient, secure and thriving.
“The process is now a whole lot easier with only one application form to complete online at www.geysercf.org.nz “
Applications open on 1 March 2024.
Mrs Nicholas said that it was important to note that the closing date had changed.
“Applications will close earlier this year on 31 March 2024.
Geyser Trustees have approved gifts totalling more than $510,000 since first being appointed by TTF to manage its local funding needs in the Rotorua and Taupō District communities in 2013.
“Seven local charities and community organisations shared gifts totalling $52,885 last year.”
