Well-known and respected local lawyer, John Te Manihera Chadwick NZOM died suddenly in Rotorua in 2017. A man of words and music, he worked selflessly for 30 years with community organisations that made a difference for young people.
The Geyser Community Foundation is proud to manage the John Chadwick Rangatahi Fund on behalf of the Chadwick whanau, Te Waiariki Purea Trust and the Rotorua Youth Centre Trust, which will honour John’s memory year on year, forever.
Established in 2017, the Fund supports young people from all cultures in the Rotorua District to reach their full potential.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation was the first organisation to receive a gift from the Fund at a Special Presentation in June at Western Heights High School (WHHS) attended by Nicola Smallwood, Graeme Dingle Foundation Regional Manager, The Hon. Steve Chadwick, WHHS Principal, James Bracefield, and Annette Burgess, Geyser’s Executive Officer.
