Investment Risk Profiles

When we talk about investment risk, we’re really talking about the balance between growth investments (such as shares and property) and income investments (such as bonds and cash). Each profile has a different balance of risk and return. The Investment Committee is recommending to the Board to increase our risk profile from the current 60% growth / 40% income (low risk) to 70% growth / 30% income (medium risk). Changing to a 70/30 profile will align us with other successful community foundations.
